One line is enough: “Launch the pricing page”.
List the people or roles and the tasks. Leave the tasks empty to let the AI propose them.
Click a cell to cycle R, A, C, I. Or press the AI button for a first draft.
Every task needs exactly one A and at least one R. Then copy it to your doc or sheet.
| Letter | Role | Plain meaning |
|---|---|---|
| R | Responsible | Does the work |
| A | Accountable | Owns the result and signs off. One person only. |
| C | Consulted | Asked before; two-way conversation |
| I | Informed | Told after; one-way |
The one rule that matters: every task has exactly one Accountable person. Two means no one is. The same person can be both A and R, written A/R, when they do the work and own it.
A matrix that shows, for each task, who is Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and Informed. It makes ownership explicit so nothing falls between people.
Yes. Several people can do the work. There must be exactly one Accountable person.
Responsible people do the work. The Accountable person owns the outcome and approves it. It is often the same person on small tasks, shown as A/R.
Copy as a markdown table, copy as tab-separated text to paste into Google Sheets or Excel, or download a CSV.
No. The grid runs in your browser. If you use the AI button, the project and names go to our AI providers to propose roles.
Sign up, connect Jira or Linear (or just use Plans), and hold your standup as usual. The tickets are drafted by the time you hang up, and the next update is ready before anyone asks.
