Meeting agenda generator

Say what the meeting is for and how long you have. You get a timed agenda where every item names the outcome, not just the topic, and the minutes always add up.

Updated October 4, 2026 · By the Align team

Your details go to Align’s AI providers to write the agenda. This tool doesn’t save them. Keep anything sensitive out.

How to use it

  1. 1

    Describe the meeting

A title and, if you have it, what the meeting should produce.

  2. 2

    Choose type and length

Decision, status, planning, brainstorm or 1:1, from 15 to 90 minutes.

  3. 3

    Generate

You get timed items, each with the outcome the group should leave with, and a little prework.

  4. 4

    Send it ahead

Copy the agenda into the invite the day before so the meeting is for deciding.

What makes an agenda work

  • It starts with the goal, not a list of topics.
  • Every item names its outcome: a decision, a list, an owner.
  • Time is allotted per item and adds up to the meeting length.
  • It ends with owners and next steps, not “any other business”.
  • It goes out ahead, with the reading people need.

Example: a 30-minute decision meeting

Outcome: Each step has one owner and a date

Frequently asked questions

What should a meeting agenda include?

The goal, the topics with time for each, the outcome for each item, who leads it, and any reading beforehand. End with owners and next steps.

How long should each agenda item be?

Give the item that carries the decision the most time and keep openings and wrap-ups short. The generator makes the minutes add up to your meeting length.

Does it use AI?

Yes, to write items that fit your meeting. If the AI is busy it falls back to a solid template, so you always get an agenda with minutes that add up.

Is my meeting information stored?

This tool does not save it. The details go to our AI providers to write the agenda, so keep anything sensitive out of the goal field.
