Align is an early-access product (“private beta”). By creating an account or using Align you agree to these terms. If you’re using Align for an organisation, you confirm you’re authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
What Align does
Align runs time-boxed Aligns where people discuss a question alongside their documents. An AI facilitator keeps time, answers from the source material, and turns the conversation into a decision record. Align does not provide legal, financial, medical, or investment advice — the output is a summary of your discussion, not professional counsel.
Your content
You keep ownership of the documents you upload and the messages you send. You grant Align a licence to process that content to run the Align and generate your decision record. Don’t upload content you don’t have the right to share, or anything unlawful, malicious, or designed to abuse the service.
Beta expectations
Features change, break, and disappear during the beta. Live Align rooms are ephemeral and are deleted a short time after an Align ends. If you sign in, your saved decision records persist, but we don’t promise uninterrupted availability or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything important.
Recordings
A host can choose to record an audio or video Align. If you host a recorded Align, you are responsible for having the right to record the people in it under the laws that apply to you. Align shows everyone in the room that recording is on; anyone who doesn’t consent should leave. See the Privacy Notice for how recordings are stored and who can access them.
Acceptable use
Don’t attempt to disrupt the service, bypass rate limits, reverse-engineer it, resell it, or use it to build a competing product. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Third-party services
Align relies on providers including Supabase (accounts and storage), LiveKit (voice and video), and AI model providers for transcription and reasoning. Your use of Align is also subject to their terms where relevant.
No warranty; limitation of liability
Align is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Align and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on an Align’s output.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here with a new date. You can stop using Align at any time. We may end or limit access to the beta at our discretion.
