Align Plans

Meeting tasks with two-way Jira and Linear syncTickets that write and move themselves

After every standup or planning call, Align drafts the tasks for each person. Accept them and they sync both ways with Jira or Linear. Then the code moves them: branch to In progress, PR to In review, merge to Done, each with your OK.

Free for up to 5 people: two-way sync with Jira or Linear, plus GitHub and Slack.

How it works

How Plans works

Step 1 of 3

Meet as usual

Standup or planning on Meet, Teams, Zoom or in an Align Room. Tasks and owners are picked up as people talk.

Tasks come out already drafted

After a standup, planning call or room, Align suggests the tasks with an owner and a due date. Keep the ones you want and drop the rest. Nobody copies anything out of a transcript.

Moved along by the code

Accepted tasks sync both ways with Jira or Linear. A branch moves the ticket to In progress, a PR to In review, a merge to Done, each with a one-click OK unless you turn on auto.

Tutorial

Set up Plans in a minute

Step 1 of 5

Connect your tracker

Sign up, open Settings → Integrations and connect Jira or Linear, plus GitHub and Slack if you use them.

The details that matter

Small things that add up to a meeting people trust.

01

Inbox of suggestions

Nothing gets created behind your back. Each person accepts the tasks they took on.

02

Two-way Jira and Linear sync

Change a ticket on either side and the other one updates. Keep the tracker you already use.

03

Moves with the code

Branch, PR and merge in GitHub move the ticket. Every move asks first unless you turn on auto.

04

Standups that write themselves

What each person got done, read from their commits, PRs and tickets (not commit counts), plus what's next and what's blocked. One page for the whole team.

05

Sprints and cycles

Plan the work in sprints, milestones and epics, with projects and initiatives above them.

06

Your work

One list of everything assigned to you, with the meeting each task came from.

Questions

No. Keep working in Jira or Linear. Plans syncs with them both ways, so you can accept tasks in Align and do everything else in the tracker you already have.

Not by default. Every status change that comes from GitHub waits for a one-click approval. You can turn on automatic moves when you trust it, and turn them off again at any time.

Let the busywork do itself.

Tickets from every meeting, in sync with Jira and Linear. Try it with your team’s next meeting.
